The Hostess.... a not so big Reveal!

How do I take my own picture?
Stand tall, stretch!

and turning to the side...

I am not now nor have I ever been photogenic...I really do not enjoy having my photo taken so it has been with a bit of reluctance and trepidation that I share these.

Many of the blogs that I follow have images of bloggers in beautiful garments, wearing enchanting gems, and looking so relaxed. I love that they are so creative in their dressing and appear comfortable and natural.

I am a "behind the scenes" kind of gal.
I am thinking of updating my profile picture and one of these might work.

I am wearing the Debra Kay necklace, diamond studs... and a Liz Claiborne grey tank top, highlights courtesy of Aveda salon and the divinely talented Chris.

Anyone else feel camera shy?

  1. You look lovely. I love the hair. Now smile:).

  2. It's so nice to see your lovely face!

  3. Hi Leslie,

Your highlights are gorgeous! Your skintone and complextion are amazing. You are beautiful! Please have hubby take a picture of you SMILING. Unless of course you are going for a more somber look, then either of these 2 pics would work. But I vote for smiling!

  4. Hostess- you shouldn't be camera shy- you are absolutely beautiful! I love your gorgeous curly hair!

  5. Oh my goodness...I forgot to smile! I didn't even notice...LOL
It was such serious business, getting in front of the camera for this expose! I'll try again, and maybe I'll be more relaxed.

  6. You must smile!!!!

I wish I could come and take your pic...I always manage to bring out the best in people when I set my mind to it and take their photos.

    I love your curly hair!!

  7. I love the hair, Hostess :-)

  8. I *love* your hair and think you are lovely, you look so 'undone', yet stylish. Really! You are selling yourself short. Let's see a shot of you smiling! The first ones are the hardest.

  9. Absolutely adorable, cute & sexy.

  10. No need to be camera shy, you look absolutely lovely!
