The winner is......

What's in the bag?

The name of one follower who will be receiving a copy of Shoe String Chic.

I wrote the names of those who were participating in the giveaway on strips of paper...

with a little help from Pepper
I popped them into the bag.

I hope that you can read sideways as I forgot to rotate the image before uploading it!

Congratulations Lorrie please email your mailing address and I'll send you the book.
Thank you to all who participated.

Pepper could have picked the winning name
she seemed very keen on this event but now that it's over she seems a bit blase.

Monday has brought with it gale force winds and rain...
Hunkered down here in The Humble Bungalow
dressed casually in grey yoga pants and a hoodie
domestics are on the agenda
and not a chic thought to be found.

Real life can't be all glamour now can it?

  1. Life is so not all glamour! and Pepper is sooo cute x

  2. Nice to see Pepper!
    Congratulations to the winner.
Real life is rubber boots for me ; )

  3. Congratulations to Lorie. One of these days I will get my hands on the library copy - patience, patience.

I am doing zero glamour today too. It's my one day to do whatever I want this week so I chose to wear yoga pants, no makeup and am watching "Chocolat" with Juiette Binoche and eating, what else? Dark chocolate :) xo

  4. Ooh, thanks! I've just sent you an email. Stay cozy.

  5. Congratulations Lorrie!

    Pepper is so adorable :).

  6. Dear Hostess,
everday glamour - that would be (almost) an oxymoron. For me Everday Life has to be "normal", so that some Glamour now and then sparkles and allures. If we had everyday Champagne and Oysters - I'm sure we would soon feel as "blah" like Pepper with too many little nametags to choose from :-)

  7. Pepper is the best PA! It's been scorching here and we're in for a heatwave, of course I've packed away all of my summer clothes.

  8. Oh, what a wonderful method of picking the winner!

  9. Wearing yoga pants and a hoodie on a windy, rainy day sounds rather lovely to me. I used to thing rain was a hassle, now it seems like a blessing since we are so dry here.

  10. I'm so Not glam while pottering around the house.
    Congrats Lorrie.

  11. Congrats to Lorrie - who is a sweetie - we've met!
Chic and workday - well, I try, but there are days when a rain jacket with a hood is the only thing that's going to get me through driving rain and howling wind, unscathed. Definitely un-chic today!

  12. It was a sign for me to de-lurk...another woman who spells her name just like me: Lorrie!!! We are few and far between. Congratulations on winning.

Hostess -- thanks for letting us share your life.
