Lovely daughter came over and we rolled up our sleeves and got busy in the kitchen.
we set everything up on the counter
Adrienne's recipe calls for a food processor which made things easy
Blend 2 eggs, 1 tsp. oil, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 3/4 c flour
until it resembles cornmeal
(see above)
add 2 tbsp water and process until it forms a ball.
Form into a round and place in a plastic bag for 30 minutes to rest.
divide into 3 portions and put through the press
8 times using a smaller setting each time
cut into 10 inch lengths
then using the cutter
feed it through and use a bit of flour to keep the noodles from sticking.
voila!
Dinner is served
Thank you Adrienne

I would love to follow more as I know there are so many more that I have yet to discover.
How much time do you spend blogging and how much time to you spend reading blogs?

Glad the pasta turned out this time! :)
I've just started blogging recently but have been following blogs for awhile. Yours is lovely!
My husband made pasta Thursday night with a fabulous eggplant sauce; I was a bit annoyed that he had it all done by the time I got home, because I'd hoped to get some photographs for posting (poor guy: not enough he cooks for me, but I want to be able to photograph the making before I do the eating!). He does his all by hand rather than using the food processor, but otherwise your results look similar. It tastes fabulous, doesn't it?!
And we find it's great for entertaining, at least if you have guests who enjoying watching the process -- he works, we drink & watch. . .
LR@Magnificent or Egregious- Thank you :)
materfamilias- it does taste great! we were all hands on deck....a sip here and there!
That bowl of pasta looks delicious!
When do I blog?...late in the evening just before bed, or early in the morning before going to work. I read blogs with my morning coffee and my night time chamomile tea.
I'm glad this batch of pasta turned out so well Hostess.
As a new blogger I'm discovering the time I devoted to commenting on other blogs has eroded a little but I'm trying to fine tune and find a good balance. There are so many beautiful blogs but nary the time to follow them all!
xx
Not that's some smooth pasta on your plate! Congratulations et bon appetit!
I blog late night, the only actual free time. I comment throughout the day, it's refreshing.
So pleased that this batch of pasta was such a success - it looks gorgeous! As for blogging well I am addicted but sometimes worry that I haven't been round to visit others as much as I would like to ...xx
YAY! Looks super yummy as usual!! Bloggdom has all but replaced facebook for me in many ways and I'm thankful for time-saving access on my phone. The hectic school rush is easing finally into familiar routine...I might be able to come up for air lol
This looks fantastic! I have the same Cuisanart; I cannot live life without my food processor.
I am going to try this next time I make pasta, in the near future. The recipe I have now, makes me knead the dough. I HATE kneading dough. I am pretty sure that's what they do in Hell. Knead dough for eternity. Then they bake the bread in the fire pit brick ovens, for the angels to eat!!!
