Banana Republic Striped Breton Tunic Top
I am working (walking) on whittling away the hip and tummy areas.
Bangles that jangle...
Hermes scarf
that adds a hint of French flair.
I think that I will be dressing more casually in my retirement...
I am hoping to have more time to go thrift shopping too!
Thrift shopping is like a treasure hunt
as one never knows what gems are lurking in the racks.
It will be fun to find some new pieces...
perhaps it will become a regular blog post
"what I thrifted"
Have a lovely day...

Tres chic!! Love the pop of red flats. Retirement agree's with you. Congratulations.
You look great! This is my kind of casual style, which goes with the comment on Tish's site!
Love the longer knit tops and tunics!

Congratulations on your retirement!
I hope you do find time to do some thrifting and I would love to see your treasures. I just spent a few weeks in California and got to check out several benefit shops in the Carmel area...it was so much fun!
Enjoying your blog immensely Hostess. You look so fresh and ready for the day in that outfit. I'm about to begin painting the outside window sashes so not looking anywhere as lovely as you! The wedding preparation goes on....but I am enjoying it. Kindly,Tonkath
I love the classic simplicity of this outfit, and the scarf adds such a nice touch.
I love the stripes , they look very nice on you. Thrifting is fun , you never know what you are gong to find. Retirement will be great for you and it will really be an exciting day for you on the first day of school in September when you don't have to be there. Donna
You are looking wonderful, Hostess!
Today I zipped into Super Chance in James Bay and found a little treasure - such fun!
