Moet and Chandon, Sunshine and Pepper

The sun has come out after an afternoon hailstorm.
It's been a lazy day here in the Humble Bungalow...

Pepper is napping in the sun
she loves to find a sunny spot to curl up in...
It makes me want to climb back into my bed and have an afternoon nap myself!

She is enjoying a lazy day too.

Champagne anyone?

I found a new tote
it's so much
better than using plastic or paper bags.
It is very sturdy and has nice leather detailing
I'm not one who likes a lots of logos on display but this label is very subtle.

My grocery bags are rather glaring as they have the store's name in bold large lettering
and I feel like I am advertising their business when I use them
and I suppose that I am in a way.
I must see what I can find that is more to my liking.

Pepper is checking it out...
I wonder if it meets with her approval.

Songbirds outside are keeping Pepper entertained as they flit about in the garden
she loves to sit up on her perch
 and look outside.

The Humble Bungalow is filled with light and the sound of birdsong

Pepper's kitty grass sitting on the windowsill
she loves her greenery.

The grass in the garden is really growing fast and needs to be mown every week now.
Many plants in the garden are sprouting forth
after the winter slumber
I hope to get out and tackle the jobs that need to be done
but not today.

I am giving myself a day off
a day of rest
and day to listen and look
 and just be.

What did you get up to this weekend?

That bag is such a nice alternative to the usual grocery store bags. I have one Trader Joe's bag in a print that often gets complimented.

Did a little yardwork this weekend, got the fountain cleaned out for spring, and up and burbling again!

A very chic grocery bag and contented Pepper.

I love the photos of him in the sun.

It was a Moet weekend here too.

What a marvelously, fashionable grocery bag. Pepper seems to like it too. I spent the whole weekend working in my very weedy garden...lots still to go but it is slowly getting there.

Your kitchen is so beautiful. I love a galley kitchen - my absolute favourite. Thinks look very tranquil there - very stormy here. Really nasty weather so I hibernated. Spring has barely arrived. Rats.

I always find it interesting whne people blog about how offensive big logos are...but them do free ads for every product they use. :O) Like aveda etc.

Deja Pseu- Your garden looks great and I love the patina on your fountain.

Jeanne- I hope that you are having a great start to your week Jeanne.

SSG- You have been so busy this weekend...where do you get all that energy?

LaVieQuotidienne- Those weeds are a force to be reckoned with...I have more than my share too!

L'age moyen- There are some crazy weather patterns...climate change has arrived. Hope that the hibernating was restful!

Suburban Princess- I do not like to wear or carry on my person Logos that are obvious. For example tees with brand names...loudly advertising.
I applaud products like Aveda that perform and am happy to spread the word to others...but I would not wear a tee that had bold letters on it even if it said AVEDA!

I also was brought up not to draw attention to myself but rather fit in and blend so maybe that is part of my reluctance to wear logo's?

I have no problem with others wearing them, they are just not my style.

I'm forever packing. Your home, with everything in its place and the lively Pepper makes me feel like I never want to move again.

Duchesse- Oh I do empathize packing is such hard work. Your move will be a breath of fresh air and you will have such fun decorating your new place and exploring your new neighbourhood...I would be so excited if I were in your shoes!
