Merry Christmas Leslie!
I just finished wrapping gifts, after subjecting my family to my tradition of reading Truman Capote's 'A Christmas Memory.' As of last year they've escaped my pitiful, voice catching rendition, and instead get to watch an old television version DVD that came included in the new publication.

I still read the story to myself. It just wouldn't seem like Christmas if I didn't.

Merry Christmas!

Cheers,
Donna

Dear Ms Leslie, I hope as your Christmas draws to a close and you are doing the washingup in your pearls with your favourite rellies that you are all laughing fit to burst, having had a splendid day.

Just a little update - as my daughters and I stopped off in Buenos Aires to change planes, we found ourselves in the Hermès dutyfree shop. After considerable thought and consultation, the girls decided and I agreed that I would get the red La Charmante aux Animaux silk twill 90 cm scarf. The red Cent Plis des Miao came a close second. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
