As requested...

This post is in response to a request from a reader...
who emailed me to ask to see more of my "paintings"
those that I refer to it as "mud paintings."

I work in acrylics and have no delusions that what I create is serious
It would be folly to think in those terms...
it is merely a creative outlet not unlike that of gardening.

as you can see they are floral in nature
reflecting my passion for roses and gardening...

~ ~ ~

Nature paints the most beautiful scenes....
of this I am so thankful.

The sunsets have been so beautiful this week...

The farmer's markets are full of gorgeous fruits and vegetables.
It is a bountiful time for Mother Nature in this part of the world.

There is so much to be grateful for...
stop for a quiet ponder and consider what wonderful gifts you have in your life.

Namaste

Lovely paintings! You are talented--and best of all have found an enjoyable creative outlet! My creative outlet is needlework. It is very calming.

Your paintings are totally charming. They're filled with joy. The only thing I would change is I'd either sign them on the back, or in a much smaller size, as I think in a few particularly - the signature takes away from the image, and draws your eye off of the canvas. I bet some local gallery or shop would love to hang them.

Kathy, I have finally figured out that you have changed your hair color. Really pretty on you!

I think your paintings are lovely, and that you use and combine color with an artist's eye.

I think they are beautiful! I think you are underestimating your ability. You have talent. Thanks for sharing :-)

Now, finally, there is no doubt that you LOVE roses.
I like the very first one best, but agree with Kathy, that though you are free to place your name where you wish, especially in this particular piece, maybe the " Lord " strikes out too much.
There are so many paintings - you are really productive - in about just anything you decide to do : !

Thanks Susan! I'm really happy with it.

I disagree. I think you have something. Do you follow Sandra Sallin? And have you ever thought of selling a line of greeting cards on Etsy? I think you'd do really well.

I really like your work. I think they should be placed in an art gallery.
