OOTD or blushing pink and black

OOTD or what I wore to brunch at a luxury waterfront hotel with my family.
Casual, comfortable and a little hint of pink to mimic the cherry and plum blossom trees that are putting on a lovely show for Spring.

Spring Blossoms

Blush pink tank and sweater by Joe
(Superstore and a steal of a deal)
Black pants by Ralph Lauren
ballet flats by Roberto Vianni

Quartz necklace made on the lower mainland by a designer
purchased in Duncan BC years ago while on holiday
at Fabrications.
(a yummy shop chock full of fun fashions)
I can't wait to go back!

The length of the sweater is longer and so soft and cozy.

Arm candy
Kate Spade and a variety of bangles...
Two Tiffanys and the rest handmade by artisans or vintage.

I think with bangles more is better.

Subtle scent for a soft day...

speaking of soft...

Grammy's in love with a special Little Miss.

Isla's skin is sheer perfection

DIL, Lovely daughter and Isla
(her colour blocking did not escape my notice)

A lovely morning spent with beloved family for breakfast and then a sunny stroll along the waterfront.
My heart feels very full.

Share some love with your family this weekend.

Sounds like a lovely day -- sweet picture of your DIL, daughter, and granddaughter. Love Fabrications, although I haven't made it down there for a year or so. You've reminded me I should make the trip . . .

You certainly dressed up to perfection for the brunch. How well it shows, how much you treasure moments of togetherness!

What a lovely way to spend the morning - brunch is my favorite meal, and to have it with one's favorite people is perfection!

She's such a sweet little lady....
Your recent post on your living room is spectacular! I love the white sofas and the high vaulted ceiling and your choice of decor.

I thought of you when I put on those Ralph Lauren pants...I think they are the only things I own from RL. How are your grand children doing these days?

Thankfully the weather was sunny and mild. It was a wonderful gift all round :)

What a lovely outfit. Got to love Joe Fresh. Spent the day in the garden uncovering all sorts of little wonders - snowdrops and crocuses!

Lorrie there is nothing better.
I am still basking in the afterglow !

It's nice to take time and just be together.
Hope you are enjoying a restful weekend too with the princes.

I'll be pottering in my garden soon too. Love that sunshine!

Many thanks Hostess. My kids tease me that those white covers are going to be a pain when grandchildren arrive and I'll have to erect childproof gates!

You look gorgeous Hostess and how nice to spend time with family. Isla is a treasure! X

We bought a baby gate for the top of our stairs too. It's a little piece of mind when they come to visit, not that we ever take our eyes off Isla because she's so sweet we want to savour every second.
You won't mind about slip covers or gates when your grandchildren are around, I am pretty sure!

Awwww, melt melt melt. My fond envy for that little hand in yours! And the blush pink is so pretty!

What a great ensemble. I'm so jealous of people who can wear ballet flats; they make my feet hurt. You have a very Chanel vibe going on, and not just because of the quilted purse. I think it's the Parisian haircut and curly brown hair, reddish lips and kohl liner, and then the classic pairing of blush, silver and black. Just gorgeous!
