Today Janice has some great tips on dressing 10 years younger.
That would make me um, 48.
I appreciate and agree with her tips and they all make sense.
Today I think perhaps I've dropped the ball...
OOTD
Grey grey and more grey.
Skirt ~ Armor Jeans
Top ~ Segments Merino
Scarf ~ Tilo
Boots ~ Hush Puppies
Belt ~ unknown maker
This Tilo scarf gets lots of wear as it is light and not too warm under a coat.
I liked the details on the belt.
I have worn this to cinch in some of my bigger clothes which I am keeping until I reach my final WW goal.
I plan on replacing some of them when I get there.
Looking at this rather plain errand running OOTD I can see that I could switch up the boots and scarf.
Perhaps my cowboy boots and a colorful scarf are in order.
OK readers it's your turn...
Please "be kind" when you chime in on what you would do to perk up this OOTD.

Wow you are sylph like now, well done!
Before I suggest any colourful switch-ups, I would ask how you feel in this outfit. It's very becoming as is, and if you feel just right in it, then voila...mission accomplished. To perk it up; although I fully understand the practicality of the belt that you have, I would suggest a tone on tone grey belt, and adding some light silver bangle bracelets, and perhaps weaving in a second scarf that has some subtle threads of silvery sparkle or soft plum shade. As much as I love colour for me, for you I don't really think that this outfit needs perking up with mad dashes of colour. It's serene, sophisticated, and you look effortlessly chic!
I think you look gorgeous. I like your new hairstyle too. The only thing I might consider changing, if anything, is a different color scarf, other wise you look great.
Ah, see, I'd suggest different boots. More delicate. Show a little leg maybe, with some ankle booties. As you have gotten smaller, so will the shoes:). I like the monochrome look - sophisticated.
You look fabulous, Hostess!

I think that you are looking terrific as well. Maybe if you were to untuck the jumper and then belt it at your hip level it would maybe look more youthful?

I have to say that I like that neutral palette -- I love the way the belt's brown shows up against the greys.
I like the neutral look, too. If you want some more color, change out the scarf, but I'd keep the tone of that soft as well.
I like the soft grey colours. I also like the belt, but it looks lonely as the only tan/gold colour. How about some gold earrings or mix a tan colour scarf with the grey one.

You've lost a lot of weight! Congrats this outfit really shows your new ilhouette. But I think the only tweak I would suggest is to wear pinks or other uplifting looks around the face but having said that the monochromatic length does create a leaner figure.
You look fantastic!! I like the soft colors and monochromatic look on you. I might suggest just shortening the skirt 2-3 inches, to just below the knee, and wearing a lighter weight boot. Something less sturdy.
Love the way you tied the scarf. I think the boots do not help your look. They look a little too clunky.
Love the outfit on your very slim silhouette and agree with those who've suggested different boots. Something more feminine, as they've mentioned. Love the all gray and don't think it needs a bit of color. I love gray with brown or cognac shoes as well as black, less "expected".
I like the boots because it gives the heavy scarf a good balance. Lighter shoes would make it top heavy. I also like the "rough" belt with this since both the scarf and the dress is not of fine fabric. Well done! IMO
I love the monochromatic look too, but I think a less heavy-looking boot would really show off how slim you are now. The boots look a little clunky for your size now.
I like the monochromatic colour scheme, but I think the belt is too dominant. I think a belt in the same colour would be better. Introduce colour in the scarf and bring attention to your lovely face. Your boots are fine as you walk and live in a cool climate. Balance the boots with a sturdier, not a refined looking bag,
Congratulations on your weight loss, I am on my journey now.

What terrific comments and so many different ways to style one outfit. You could use these suggestions and make twenty different combinations!
Were you in a laundromat when you took the picture of yourself? Those look like industrial washing machines in the background.
New shape, and the one colour makes a new fillip to your usual style...looking good Leslie.
I am in our laundry room! The machines are by LG and are the company's heavy duty models.
I love the neutrals and the monochromatic effect. I think maybe the skirt is a bit long, the boots a bit heavy, and the scarf might be one that combined grey and the tan of the belt. I think a soft shaded scarf could blend well, but really, I like the tonal effect. And you look just great.

Choosing one color from top to bottom suites you fine.
Were I you, I´d shorten the skirt a bit, change the color + model of the belt and wear the boots only when walking outside.
I like the outfit as-is - it suits you! And grey is a lovely colour on you, L. That belt is gorgeous!
Monochromatic colour schemes are beautiful and there is no reason to change that approach. But all grey-since your hair is grey-may make you look a bit washed out; it's impossible to tell in these photos. Sometimes grey from hair to toe looks luminous and sometimes dull; greys are tricky. I find them the hardest colour in terms of dye quality.
Hi, 1st comment, cute look, would change belt to something softer, woven,
all the grays are dreamy, maybe a stron lip color if that is your thing
Nice laundry room! :-)
P.S. I was right after all, your "humble bungalow" is not so humble af all! LOL! :-)
leslie you are looking HOT. so good!
