OOTD ~ Errands

Mr. HB has installed a full length mirror for me downstairs!
It's been several years since I have had one and think this will help me monitor how I look before I leave the house.
The renovations are not yet complete as you can see...
and the bonus is I now have a place to snap some images of the occasional OOTD.

Gilmour top in a mushroom shade
skinny jeans
ballet flats

You can see the saw in the background to the left.

I try to take a tote bag or basket when I run errands so that I do not end up with all those cheap plastic bags.

This one goes with my outfit.

I did add something as a result of checking the mirror.
I think this adds to the whole look.

Fortunately the weather is warm enough that I do not need anther layer.
We are enjoying what is known in these parts as an Indian Summer.

Must run now and get some of my errands accomplished...
hope that you are having a great week!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.
XO
Hostess

I'm just back from mine I have managed to lose the weeks shopping money somewhere between the house and the shops I am so so annoyed with myself and can't bear the thought of going out and starting all over again.

Love your outfit - the shoes are very cute and I adore the scarf. The tote is a great touch as well.

Isn't this weather glorious. I am feeling well - 4 days post chemo - and will soon head out for my walk in the sun. It feels so good on my back. Have a wonderful weekend. Peg - UI

I do love the pockets on that top. Such a pretty scarf! I'd be lost without my full-length mirror.

A full length mirror is an essential object, states someone, who does not have one herself ; )

Very nice outfit! I have a scarf similar to yours, and always enjoy wearing it. Those ballet flats are intriguing me. Would you mind telling me what brand they are? Thanks!

I agree. The full length mirror is essential to me getting the proportions and accessories tweaked. The scarf really does give you a polished look. Love the outfit.

That's not a good scenario...perhaps someone found it and turned it in to the local constabulary?
Sounds like soups are on the menu for the week and perhaps your mom will take you out for a bite.

I begin radiation tx when I return from vacation. Sending good thoughts out to the universe for you and hope you can do the same for me.

I agree with Debbi- I do love the scarf and I thing the color mushroom is a wonderful neutral to play with. I have a full length mirror behind my bedroom door, but it is too dark there to see well. Relocating might be a good idea.

Bravo Peg! It sounds like you are managing to keep up your walking regime during your treatments which must be good. I love a routine and this weather does make for pleasant walking.

I really love the scarf with your grey tunic. The greyer I get the happier I am wearing grey. Maybe we were meant to be surrounded by grey in l'age. Very pretty and very feminine.
