If you are meeting her here for the first time you are going to be smitten by this wee little gal.
She is made by the talented artist Robyn who creates a myriad of wonderful creatures and features them on her Instagram page @williewoolly.

Hanging out with the roses.
The Russell Lupines

Stop and smell the roses
this one is Iceberg a very vigorous climber.
The blooms are almost a big as Marigold!
Marigold looks like she's enjoying being the star of this tour.
Abraham Darby
a stalwart David Austin rose
very fragrant and a repeat bloomer.
I think she's having a fun morning!
Jacob's Coat
a superb rosebush
whose colour varies from bright yellow to a deep orange.
Abraham Darby and foxgloves
Smilacena Racemosa
an unusual plant whose flowers are softly scented.
Jude the Obscure
my favourite David Austin Rose.
Just in bud with the promise of many flowers soon to flush.
Fragrant Showy Pavement series rose...
the stems are very prickly
a vigorous drought tolerant rose with a habit of spreading.
Hosta leaves with droplets of water from the sprinkler last evening.
I spy a wee tear from Marigold

The flowers are splendid right now! I don't think we've any rain in the forecast though ...I read about Robyn and her creations. What a lovely gesture to offer them free of charge to homes where they would be needed or appreciated. My favourite is Bernadette. Enjoy the week-end! How did it come so soon? The time passes so quickly.
I do so enjoy your sense of whimsy.
What an abundance of beauty in your garden and what a charming tour guide- hello to Marigold the Mouse!
Dottoressa
What an absolutely delightful post. Every entry made me smile. Thank you!
How adorable!
Adorable!
So cute! Your Foxgloves are fabulous!
I LOVE her!
And she picks such beautiful places to visit! :)
Souci la souris est jolie! đđˇ
Awww sweet. Thanks for giving me a smile looking at your lovely garden.
Such a beautiful garden showcased by an adorable mouse!
She’s a very sweet mouse, and a lucky one as well—what a beautiful home she’s found in your garden. It’s magnificent, especially now with all the fragrant blossoms.
Our weeks are passing quite qickly here too! The weather has been really lovely and sunny...perfect for gardening and walking.
Robyn is so talented and her little animals have their own stories which I love reading.
Whimsy can be so useful as it lightens up the way we look at things...
Marigold will be quite pleased with your welcome greeting Dottoressa :-))
I was smiling too when I took Marigold's photos in the garden. Cindy it's great to hear that you also enjoyed her tour.
She's one sweet little mouse :-))
The foxgloves were about the only flower we had when we moved into this bungalow in 1982...it was a really messy garden over run with morning glory and blackberry bushes.
Marigold seems to enjoy flowers and gravitates to beauty... :-))
I will pass that compliment on to Marigold!
Merci beaucoup
You are most welcome Poppy Q !
Thank you Susan...she made the garden tour so much more fun...
May is a really good month in our garden...so many roses coming into bloom and masses of flowers, a reward for the work we do all year.
Marigold is a charming mouse. I've been following Robyn on IG for awhile and admire her whimsical creatures with their stories. Your roses are just beautiful - this is such a lovely time of year.
Marigold is so adorable. Did you name her after the Downton Abby character?
I enjoy seeing Robyn's posts and her creations. Her young son is a darling boy :-)) and he adds so much energy and enthusiasm to her garden stories...its fun to watch.
Robyn, the artist who created Marigold named her...she writes a detailed story about each of her wee felted animals...they are really sweet and most are poignant. You should pop over to williewoolly and read a few...they will tug at your heart strings !
Long time reader, first time commenting. Marigold is adorable, and your garden flowers are all stunning! I love your taste, I wish I could grow those flowers in Chicago.
Good morning,
Would you kindly share the varieties of Hostas you have featured on you posts recently? I would like to add a few to my garden and like the ones you have pictured.
Anne Green
Anne, I am sorry but its been so long since I planted them that I have forgotten all but the sum and substance variety! I am sure that if you peruse a local garden centre you will see hostas that you like.
