I am a wee bit obsessed and so impressed with this cloth that I have to share it...

This simple cloth is a game changer here in my kitchen.
I love how it works on the stainless steel appliances
I don't know about you but our stainless appliances show every finger print
and this cloth works on windows...
I was total rubbish at window cleaning but now I am successful thanks to this cloth.
(Weird to be so excited about something so simple but it works so well.)
January is a month for purging...
I clean out drawers, closets, the fridge and pantry cupboards.
Make note of the "best before" and expiry dates on foods and medicines.
Toss out old condiments in the fridge and wipe the shelves.
I go through things in my closet
recycle anything that may be pilled or looking shabby.
Make note of what I need to replace and lingerie is one thing I usually replace in January and lots are on sale.

They talk about the nesting instinct when you are pregnant but I think the un-nesting instinct is just as strong when we are older! The joy of getting rid of "stuff" no longer needed or wanted is such a good feeling. Also makes me realize how little I really need at this stage of my life :).

That cloth sounds like just what I need (I hate cleaning windows). Where did you buy it? (Hopefully someone in Lower Mainland is also selling it. January is a great month for "going through things"!

This cloth is amazing....it is the answer to all of our dreams..it makes cleaning so much easier...I love mine and have been using the product for at least a year now....it is amazing!!!..I like the looks of that magazine also....have a cleaning good time!!! it is now so effortless!!
This is a time for cleaning and purging. I am filling boxes for donation to Big Brother Big Sister for pickup on the 18th of this month. Nothing works better for me than a pick-up deadline. I will look for the cleaning cloth you recommend. Sponges deplete pretty quickly so a replacement would be great. Susan

Collecting "experiences" rather than acquiring more things just feels right for me now.

I purchased mine at a shop in Oak Bay called Nicholas Randal and they are currently out of stock...they were really selling like hotcakes before Christmas...hope that you can find a retailer in the lower mainland. If not you can order them online.
The company has a website so you should be able to find them...they are light so easy to ship too.
So you have been using yours a lot longer than I have...
do you have more than one cloth? I am tempted to stock up on a few of these as they are so eco friendly.
Sponges also harbour bacteria...so this seems like a great option.

Must be that time of the year as I'm currently going through kitchen and bathroom cupboards. It's a big task but am doing it as and when, so as not to make it too daunting. An uplifting experience though and don't we need that in January. Must try online for the sponge.
I'm trying to concentrate on paper purging and kitchen clean out at the moment - inching my way through it - not nearly as energetic as you though. We've been having a lot of cold, grey days here in Toronto and it makes me feel so lethargic that it's tough to get going some mornings.

Just moved into our newly built home after seven months of construction. There is fine dust everywhere. I've just ordered 5 miracle cloths. Thanks for the recommendation, Hostess. I think as I age, my OCD tendency has become stronger.
I found that Jude's Miracle Cloth is sold at Monkey Tree in Steveston. Our windows always have nose prints from our dog. I sorted through 5 years of papers, receipts, pension info yesterday. I have a lovely filing box with decorative file folders but it was getting messy. I keep sorting clothing as I am wearing fewer different pieces. I haven't brought more clothing into the apartment and I am off to Oaxaca in 6 weeks. Grey and navy capris and one dress in carry-on size bag. I've got a stack of library books to read but I hope to tackle
one drawer today. My new book club selection is Those Who Helped Us by Jenna Blum. I seem to be on reading a lot of Jewish stories these days.
January always feels like a fresh month to me and I like to get a few things out of the way early in the year and cleaning and sorting are just 2 of those jobs that I like to tackle.
It sounds like we are both doing the same kinds of jobs...I have to do my filing cabinet too!

Thanks for the review of these cleaning cloths. I'm thinking of ordering some, but have a couple of quick questions. Is there something different about them than other micro fibre cleaning cloths? And do you use them once, then pop them in the washer and dryer? I'm wondering how many I should order, just one or the pack of five.

Thanks for the tip about the cleaning cloths as I struggle cleaning mirrors and these sound like a good option. How long do the cleaning cloths last? Currently I use a mix of water and vinegar with coffee filters that I no longer use for their original purpose.
I like to read about new advices and products for cleaning-will check the opportunities online,but I'm afraid they would not ship here.
I use a lot of natural stuff like vinegar,lemon,baking soda....I have one similar kind of microfiber cloth for my bathroom- just for wiping tiles and they are perfect. But I have only one and don't want to use the same for kitchen

Planning for spring flowers sounds like a wonderful thing to do on a cold day! Those cloths sound great!
The weave of the cloth is much finer than the micro fibre cloths. I use mine and keep rinsing until it needs to be washed in the machine.
NOT to be dried in the dryer!
I would order 5, I use mine a lot and want to buy more!
I cannot say how long they last as this is a new cloth for me...I hope they last a long time but at the rate that I am using it I want to buy more now!
I have several microfibre cloths too but this one is much better for cleaning...I like that it is streak free for mirrors and glass too!

It sounds as if decluttering and planning are international in January as I am starting as well here in Northern England! This morning I have painted 2 bedside cabinets which are now drying awaiting a wax polish coating and new handles on the drawers. The next project is the 5 drawer chest. I could do with some of your cloths. I must source an English equivalent.
I bought my journal yesterday and am using it to record the house jobs that need doing this year. I'm going to be busy. Also I decided to journal monthly thoughts on health etc. Hopefully my handwriting will improve as I continue. It has been ruined by the computer.
I usually use the micro fiber cloths. Love cleaning advice and your recommendations for this new cloth is compelling. I am going to put that on my shopping list. But today I will probably read my new book (nod-nod, wink-wink).

I wonder if Whole Foods might carry this cloth? I purchased mine in a gift type store but they are quite trendy so it should not be too difficult finding them. Enjoy the book...its a cold and icy morning here so perfect for a slow leisurely start and a beautiful book to inspire you!
The good planet store on Fort Street has a lot of these cloths in stock.
