An amazing product that I never knew about!!

Am I the last person to hear about the award winning product by Weleda called Skin Food?

There has been a lot written about the formula in this green tube.

Here's what the Weleda site says about Skin Food.

No animal testing
Paraben and phthalate free
No synthetic preservatives or fragrances

Apparently it's a "cult favourite!"

Perhaps not being in a cult might explain why I haven't heard of it before!

I've just
slathered my hands with this lotion and WOW!

I had to share this with you
just in case I was not the only person who had not tried this cream.
(you'll thank me)

The clerk in the Pharmacy sold me her last tube...
she says they can hardly keep it in stock!

You can use this all over your skin, even in your hair!
It is good for ragged cuticles and if it helps with this issue,
 I'll be ever so grateful!

Gardening and homekeeping chores are hard on my hands.

So next time you need a hard working product you might consider trying this one.

Thank you for stopping by The Humble Bungalow Blog!

Let me know what you think about the Skin Food if you try some...
or you may already be using it!!

I haven't used this, it simply wasn't on my radar, although I do use various Weleda products. I just looked at the catalogue from my local Weleda wellbeing advisor and there it was at the start of the catalogue with an endorsement by Victoria Beckham no less! The catalogue states that this product was introduced in 1926 and one is sold every 23 seconds. Well, as usual, I'm rather late to the party!

I've suddenly been reading about this on blogs. Yes, I must try. Are you telling me you don't wear gloves for gardening and dishes? I'll look for it at the pharmacy or amazon.

Tell me you got my last comment.

Well that’s amazing statistics! Victoria Beckham could probably afford a much more expensive cream so I think we are now in great company! 💚

I do wear gloves in the garden but not so often in the kitchen. I used to wear them all the time but have gotten rather lazy about putting them on!

Weleda Skin Food has also recently come out with Skin Food Light, which comes in a jar, and is a miracle cream. It is less greasy than the original, but works fabulously. I'll now leave the original for winter and use the light in summer. I've been using this product for years!

So happy to know about this. I wear gloves while gardening, but not while doing housework and my hands suffer. Where have I been??

Love Welleda (they have nice deos, too),as well as dr.Hauschka (excellent creams,Rose Cream for colder season and Revitalising Day Cream during summer)-they are both antrophosophic and in balance with nature.

I used to use this years ago, but had totally forgotten about it. I just ordered the body butter and the oil (which says it helps with cellulite and crepe-y skin) - will report back. Thanks!

I got a tube recently and really like it. It has lanolin so it takes a bit of warming up in the hands to get spread around. I like it as the last layer on my face at night as well as for hands and cuticles.

Phew...I hope you like the cream. My hands are so much softer sonce I started using it and my cuticles have improved!

I saw that light version at the pharmacy but decided that my gardeners hands needed the richer formula. I've used many lotions over the course of my lifetime byt never found one that works as well as this one.

I think you will love it!!!

Same here! We've been busy tending our gardens and homekeeping!
Try this Annette and let me know what you think!

It proves that good products need not be full of toxic chemicals and cost a lot to work!

Look forward to hearing your report on the body butter!
