These boots are made for walkin!

Do you remember Nancy Sinatra's hit song "These Boots are Made for Walkin?"
It's a classic "golden oldie" have a listen...

I went shopping with a friend and while she was trying on shoes my eyes wandered and I spied these Timberland boots on sale...

Comfy to wear walking...
I do not buy ANY shoes or boots that are uncomfortable.
 I walk a LOT!

I plan to pair them with tights
for my skirts and casual dresses

with thicker socks
for my jeans.

I do not have any brown foot wear so they will expand my wardrobe.

Have you bought something "different" recently?

I like those boots! I have not bought anything different lately as I’m not very good about straying out of my comfort zone!

I really like those boots! I'm with you on comfort.Today I walked through the fog to vote and to do some errands. If my feet hurt, nothing else works for me. I have not bought anything out of my comfort zone for a bit.

Yes, I've bought some items from the Bay's new CORE line - leggings, tights, 2 big over-sized long sweaters. The sweaters are fairly lightweight but slightly ribbed and high necked - not a style I normally wear - but I'm actually feeling quite comfortable in them so no regrets.

Very smart and useful boots, and perfect for the season. I don't often buy tan either, but did buy a pair of tan sandals last Summer, and look forward to wearing them again. As you say, it expands the wardrobe and gives your outfits a different look.

I love tan boots Leslie ... I’m sure you’ll get a lot of wear from them ... they compliment so many shades. So glad I’m able to comment again.., for some reason, no idea why, my comments have been “disappearing” on your blog and Sues and Frances’ . Then suddenly, sitting in a car park in France I realised I could comment again! 😂
It’s been good to be able to communicate on IG though. Just wanted to explain if I seem to disappear again, that I am reading, just not able to comment!

I love brown boots and often wear them with all black. Those boots are great, rugged and elegant at the same time.

They are really cute boots! :) I can't stand uncomfortable shoes, not that I do a lot of running, mainly just chasing kids around, ha!

Those boots are really sharp looking! I recently bought black suede over the knee boots (a first for me) for my upcoming 62nd birthday! I'm so looking forward to wearing (or "rocking", lol) them...when it finally cools down here in Northern California.

I had another boot made by Timberland many years ago...I haven't seen many of their boots around lately but knew that my former pair lasted a long time so I felt confident investing in a new pair.

It is a big leaf and it fell from a very tall tree!

I just got back from a long walk in the fog...the sun is burning through now which is nice as its so chilly when there is fog about.

Oh I don't know the Core line...must see if our Bay carry it. Your new pieces sound lovely Margie...and even better that they are comfy too!

Footwear should be comfy...running around after kids one needs to be safe!
Besides 4 inch heels are not my idea of fun.

Renee those black suede boots sound sumptuous! Hope you have a fabulous birthday celebration too!

Timberland boots are the best. May I ask what store you found them on sale? Might be too late but I would love to check them out.

Love those boots! Do you find that they run true to size? I am considering ordering them from an online source and wonder about sizing up for thicker socks...

The Cobbler on View Street in Victoria BC. Good luck!

I purcahased a size 7 and wear them with regular socks if I wore them with really thick socks I think I would need a half size larger.
