In a nutshell, they are the small things in life that make or keep me in a happy frame of mind.
So with that thought I wondered if you would participate in a wee exercise?

Got my Happy on at Harmony Yoga in Duncan.
Restorative Yin class was the best thing I had ever done for myself.

Nothing beats going for a walk- taking in the fresh air- seeing and smelling the flowers- gazing up at the sky to marvel at its transformations and contemplate its infinity- then coming home to have a lovely cup of tea. The only thing better is if I can get my son or husband to come with.
Great question - I do love your lists though , if you want to make one ! For me - definitely enjoying nature helps - beautiful breeze, a little sun (I live in Cleveland, Oh, so it's always just a little sun...)enjoying the new buds on the trees. I also really enjoy Yoga, and that lifts my spirits. When I'm down I really do try and count my blessings and that helps. I always start with my 2 children (adults now) and my husband and family - that always brings me back 'up' and helps with my gratitude...
For me time in my sewing room working on a project makes me happy. Also making a tea latte with "Tropical Passion" tea from the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and sitting down with a good book. Thanks for letting us share.
Gardening, yoga and pilates are my happy places.
Volunteered today at a local heritage site. I felt that having lived in one community for over 50 years was of some value in talking to visitors. A good book (mystery or literary fiction)
takes me way from it all.
Roaming around gardens in England, a sunny day, or a new unread book on the shelf-- I'm happy.
A nice hot bubble bath makes me very happy, but so does Miss Twiggley and a glass of wine.
Going for a run, having a hot shower and then brewing a pot of organic, dark roast coffee is a game changer. Oh, and if it happens to be a sunny laundrey day, bringing in linen, line dried sheets and inhaling the scent always makes me very happy. I know, I'm a simple soul!
I'd have to say my two most favorite things are: to see a beautiful sky whether it is sunrise, sunset, or just the deep blue of midday and pulling up a rocking chair to my wood stove & warming my feet on the hearth if it is an especially cold day. If a kitty jumps on my lap, well...bliss.
My garden, fresh flowers in the house, looking at the water (Puget Sound), a sunny day, antiquing, and going to France!
Here in Brisbane, sunshine and walking. The sunshine of a beautiful morning in spring,autumn or winter....summer is very hot and humid here and you get a bit sick of sunshine that is so 'in your face'. A walk every morning in local bush land really keeps my happy on, without it I struggle for the whole day.
Oh, your white flowers are gorgeous, especially in the first photo - a bloom I do not know. Finding my happy: definitely a walk in nature, or even outside in my garden, camera in hand, looking for new blooms, birds or something of interest. Singing is wonderful for raising the spirits, so choir rehearsals are key for me. If I can sit and sew, with no deadlines or pressure, is a happy place. And sometimes I tell myself to go and write a Blog - that always makes me cheery. A great topic Hostess!
Taking myself out for a coffee with a book or magazine (and sitting in the sun if possible) enjoying a good movie, a chat with my best friend, seeing my grandchildren, walking somewhere picturesque, trawling nice shops when I don’t need to buy anything, gardening or perusing nurseries, settling down after dinner with hubby enjoying coffee and chocolate, walking in to my classroom of gorgeous girls.
Yoga is the most wonderful treat to myself, walking and hearing/seeing all the birds and being out in the fresh air, a cup of mango or ginger peach tea along with the soothing thoughtful words and photos of your blog ! Marguerite in Virginia
To lift my spirits I work in my garden, take a walk with a friend, imagine a future trip, talk (long distance) to one of my daughters, or FaceTime a grandchild.I curl up with a cup of tea and a good book, or binge watch a "forbidden pleasure" television show!

I would say I have a few times when I am happiest, the first that comes to mind is when I'm preparing for a big party of holiday and I have just begun cooking. The kitchen is clean, the groceries are put away, and I have a massive stock of washed vegetables ready to prep. I actually always arrange my ingredients to look most beautiful. It's so silly and I know it but I love it. It's before any thoughts of running out of time have crept in and I feel very grounded. Another is when I have a free day to go to my favorite market in the morning and peruse antique stores in the afternoon. And I savor arranging flowers and wrapping presents. So I guess I like preparing to welcome guests more than actually having them :) which I also love, of course.
Compared to the comments above, I feel a little materialistic. I go buy a lipstick. It might be from the drugstore and cost only a few dollars, but perusing the luscious colors and picking just the right one feels decadent and self-indulgent. For a moment, I am outside myself and practicing TLC.
The first image is of the plant called smilacena racemosa...it grows well in the shady part of our garden on the north side of the bungalow.

I was going to post the smell of sun dried linen as well. I think my whole list ist simple pleasures and that made me think !
All. The things that really bring me joy are simple things like a sunny day, or the first Flowers of the season, a child's trust, smile or hug, the smell of clean laundry, baking or a meal that cooks perfectly. Reading hostess and realising even though we are a world away we share similar joys
I used to "get happy" by overeating and buying things. With the wisdom of age I try to avoid things that make me unhappy instead. Good coffee, good books and my dog work every time though. And doing my own thing whatever it might be that day-the joys of retirement :).
That moment before guests arrive. All the preparation has been completed as far as it can be, so little is left to do on the action plan. Time to relax a moment, sip a glass of wine and feel pretty smug!
Any sunny day...the first warm days when you can open up the windows of your home...raucous birdsong in the morning...flowers so beautiful they bring tears to your eyes...the feeling after working your body, either after a 10k run, a day in the garden, or even a vigourous day of housecleaning...an Epsom salt soak...a glas of wine and a piece of (good) chocolate...a start sky...
A cup of tea in my MUG of the day. A good book. Fresh air. The lake. And a little mindfulness.
Thank you for the reminder to realize how often I'm happy and to savour it all more. Happiness shouldn't be taken for granted.
Writing, reading, coffee with girlfriends, walking by the lake: simple pleasures are the best ones, I think.
Lots of things inspire me to "get my happy on" being with my family, snowy mountains ...actually being there if it's possible, if not, looking at photographs or webcams of my favourite mountain views. Curling up with a coffee or glass of wine reading my favourite blogs .... And commenting! An evening with friends listening to live music, a walk by the river followed by a visit to my favourite coffee shop, brightly coloured flowers, strolling along a beach .....I could go on! :) I feel blessed that so many things make me happy!
