I think you did it just right Leslie! Love your pearls and your bright red lippy. I've never worn bright red lippy. I think you have to be an expert at putting it on to wear it.
I know I've said it before, but I just love your hair! It looks great and suits you so well, in my opinion. I was hoping you'd show the loafer you were wearing. I do wear yoga pants - all the time. But I have no great hints or tips on how to wear them. They're comfortable and I feel they look just fine, so I'm not troubled nor feel like I need to dress them up some way. Possibly it's a sign of my age(?)! Comfort rules in many ways! Your roses are really beautiful.

I do not wear workout wear in public unless I'm working out, but I realize I'm in the minority these days! With your fabulous accessorizing (right down to your red lippy!), I bet 99% of folks didn't realize you had yoga pants on. Well done!

I am sure you looked quite gorgeous in your outfit, the pearls, red lippy and the bag carry the day. While I wear slim stretch pants, I have never bought yoga pants; tried them on a few times but do not like the way they expose the leg shape. I must be the only person on the planet not wearing them! Love how you do white - the pearls, the roses, and everything else. Carry on :)
You look great. Yes, I do the same. Wear the yoga pants and then top it with something large that covers my front and back. But always add some stylish stuff to it. so I'm right with you. Yes, I'd like to see your loafers also. Love the look.
Yes to the yoga pants in black only. I wear long button downs with them.
I like the Italian red lipsticks from Miss Pupa. They have several shades which I like and the gloss is lighter but lasts and the lipstick is very deeply pigmented. No expertise required at all :-))
Thank you Jeannine...my hairdresser will appreciate your comment! The loafers are very casual...I have two pairs one in a blue and one in black. Both are made in Europe and are leather with perforated flaps on the toe area. I never thought to snap a photo...
The roses are putting on a spectacular display right now...perhaps the last gasp before winter sets in!
You have so many lovely options in your wardrobe...I think accessories really make a difference especially if one is wearing less expensive clothing!
Think that whites are a great choice when one has a small wardrobe too!
I wear longer tops with Yoga pants and they are not as clingy or revealing as leggings! Stretch pants or ponte pants are a great option too. Black and white are mainstays in my minimal wardrobe.
I will try and snap a picture of the loafers...I never even thought about taking a picture! You accessorize with a flair and have so many fun necklaces and bracelets.
I wear longer tops and tunics with Yoga pants always!!!
