Red Lipstick ~ a bright pop of colour

I have been meaning to post this new lipstick for awhile
I just haven't gotten around to it until today.

I went in search of a new lipstick and asked the helpful clerk in the cosmetics department at the local Pharmasave.

The gals are so good with colour...
they save me oodles of time and I don't waste money on lipsticks that don't work with my complexion.

Italian Lipstick by Miss Pupa
made in Milano.

A lovely shade of red that is very emollient.

Definitely a pop of colour.
The red shade makes me feel happy.
(it goes with my red ballet flats!)
which is a WIN WIN

Lovely! Wish I could wear red lipstick, but it’s just not my color. Rose or plum are best. I’ve never heard of that brand. How nice that your local pharmacy has a cosmetic area with knowledgeable clerks who can help. We don’t have that here.

What a lovely shade of red. I have never heard of this company - must have a look. But, the only time I wear lipstick these days is when I have a Zoom meeting - otherwise it just comes off on my mask!
I used to love Chanel's "Gabrielle - I think it was #19" but it was always out of stock. When I asked why I was told - "well, it's so popular"! Then why not make more if that is what people want???? After a while I just gave up and found a Maybelline red at a fraction of the cost.

Jeannine I have been wondering if I should get my hair trimmed...it's gotten so long during Covid. Hope you are doing well. I got my first vaccination yesterday!

Thank you. I feel very encouraged since getting my first vaccination...it feels like a step in the right direction. Like many I am ready to start a new chapter post Covid.

I wonder if this company will keep making this shade...some classics are still being made by other companies...Cherries in The Snow is one of those shades that people continue to buy and love. I think it is made by Revlon.

The gals at the local Pharmasave are really helpful. They advise me on all kinds of wonderful products. In Paris many women rely on the experts at the Pharmacy for skincare and makeup...

You have to wear what suits your complexion and colouring. Knowing what works best is the key. When I was in Paris I went to the Pharmacy and there were women in white medical coats helping with skincare and make up advice. The shelves were stocked with many French products...Avene is one of them and I use several of their products.

The company is new to me too...I wear my lipstick when I go out for my walk. Masks make a mess with make up and lipstick!
I used to have a lovely Chanel lipstick Legende but they must have stopped making it because I cannot find it anymore. I wonder if lipstick sales have declined since we are all wearing masks?

GG your kind words have put a smile on my face this morning...thank YOU! I got my vaccination yesterday so I have another reasons to smile.

Thank you Lorrie. Hope that you are enjoying your time outdoors in the garden. Have you had your vaccination?

Polly I really rely on the cosmetic clerks at the pharmacy...they have so much more experience with colours that flatter ones complexion.
