in fact I visited not once but twice!
Once with my friends when we made the rounds on the first or second day and I was not prepared to take up their time while I made my choice so I knew I would come back before I left...which I did accompanied by Jamie Cat Callan and several of the gals on the Ooh La La Tour.
love their window displays
you can see the Haussmann style buildings in the reflection...
My sister would love some of this tack for her barn!
Look at the huge wooden structures!
Hermes seems to do everything on a grand scale.
Look at the vast array of colours.
Ooh la la the sumptuous silk scarves...
decisions decisions!
A small silk square in a pretty pattern that will go with most everything in my closet.
These pillows and blankets are so soft...would love to cozy up under one and have a nap.
I am wearing my Hermes scarf around the house as I tackle the domestics...
a little Parisian pizazz goes a long way!
I'm planning a few more posts on France.
I am feeling so content after my trip...
(basking in the afterglow)
I wonder if I will still have anything left to say...
(time will tell)

Very nice choice! Lovely colors on you.
I'm so happy to see you chose a scarf with oh so pretty colours! It does indeed look lovely on you!
I like small squares too. It is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing
Your photographs are so perfect - the combination of the Hermes windows, the reflections of the buildings across the street, and just a glimpse of you - this is the essence of all that is the most fun in a great vacation!
That last photo is lovely - that one picture tells the story of how much you enjoyed your trip all in itself!
I love the scarf you chose! It's so colorful! The Hermes shop looks divine. I'm sure you'll have many more ideas for Parisian posts that will pop up! I'd love to know all about that wonderful market you visited!
What a lovely choice you made. Please don't stop telling us about your trip!
I've read about the design at that shop and have always meant to take a look in person. If it is the one at Sevres, I believe the lowest floor was originally a swimming pool. How much of the original design is still visible?
Oh, how much fun! I would have to make a second trip too, when I could devote the time to looking at all those lovely scarves! Yours is beautiful, and such a great color for you. I can see it working with your wardrobe wonderfully.
You will return to Paris. I am certain. Your photos truly capture the visual beauty of Hermès. The windows and displays are magnificent in Paris. If you get a chance, read Le Bonheur des Dames (The Happiness of the Ladies) which is a sort of French version of Mr. Selfridge. The French department store was designed to create a "magical" place for the growing bourgeoisie of the 19th century. You look very pretty with the pink square and lipstick. You have inspired ,e as I always resent housework when I come home from holiday. I will dress in my prettiest casual today.
Love that you got to visit the Mothership. I also love that photo of the peonies--gorgeous! I like the scarf pattern you chose, it is lovely! xx
I love the scarf you chose. I think the smaller squares tied as you have it, are fresh and young feeling. Perfect.
Oh, the scarf you chose is lovely! And you truly have the knack for tying. I love that you're wearing it around the house while doing chores, so avant-garde! Jen, NY
Enjoy your day of domestics with that soupçon of Parisian chic!
Oh Hostess, the scarf is perfect! Your trip has been such a pleasure to watch unfold. Please show us more!! Would love to know about other stores you visited. Thanks for sharing.
You look lovely in your scarf. You have a "happy" glow about you!
What a pretty scarf . It looks lovely on you and thank you for the tour of Hermes shop! Mary
Wonderful choice, the colors are perfect for you. And the lip color is a great match. Very pretty!
Great choice on the scarf. I love it.
Love that you made this particular pilgrimage! I wanted to visit Chanel since No. 5 Eau Premiere is my signature scent but I didn't fit it into my trip. Next time. What a perfect souvenir for you!
That scarf looks so sweet and wonderful on you! Hermes there looks a fascinating place, sort of sculptural rural edifices and horse bits, 'spose that makes sense. Funnily enough i did not know they made saddles, now that would be a lucky horse
I meant to ask you about your lipstick - I love it. What brand/color is it?
So nice you found yourself a treat. Perfect with your lipstick.
Maybelline! Pleasure Me Red!...only in Paris.
An Hermes scarf is the perfect memento to bring home from Paris!
You look just wonderful! I love the scarf. It is like a little necklace.
Great choice; that pochette is so pretty and lively on you!
Saddles and tack were the house's original product; that's why the logo is a caleche.
Glad that you are back and that you are sharing your nice experiences in France.
Your photographs of the Hermes store are beautiful ... as is your scarf! It will go with so many things and brighten any outfit. Thanks again for sharing all your experiences ....enjoy wearing your scarf!
Rosie.
