Esquimalt Lagoon Walk ~ An Artist's driftwood sculptures

My sister and I met up for a beach walk at The Esquimalt Lagoon and were able to take in the wonderful sculptures that "Brother Paul" has created...

Public art is free for all to enjoy 
 this beach art has brought more people to the lagoon
 many people
like myself were taking photographs.

It's wonderful to mix up the areas and vistas that one can emjoy while getting some fresh air and exercise.

    These driftwood sculptures are absolutely stunning and I love that that they are showcased in their natural setting. What a fabulous talent he has and gift to the public to enjoy.

    They’re fun, aren’t they? Very clever.
    I’ve been reading your blog for quite some time now, without ever realising where you were exactly. I sort of assumed that you were in North America somewhere, based on certain words that you used, but had no clear idea.
    A few posts ago, you mentioned the Salish Sea, a term that I had only recently come across on a recent visit to Vancouver, while I was at the MOA at UBC.
    What a beautiful part of the world to live in!

      The MOA is a fabulous place to visit. So glad that you got to see it...Arthur Erickson, the architect really "GOT" the design right!

    How wonderful. Some people are so creative and have such interesting and unusual ideas. I always marvel at them as my mind just doesn't seem to work that way, let alone have the ability to execute. Thanks for sharing these.

    We had a similar spot years ago by the BAY BRIDGE going into San Francisco......the ART would change frequently!I never saw anyone working on it!It would just appear.........kinda MAGICAL!
