It is Valentine's Day today so I am sharing a few hearts with you today...
and a message of love.
Chocolate hearts
Paris
"All you need is love.
But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt."
But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt."
~ Charles M. Schulz ~
"The most important thing in the world is family and love."
~ John Wooden ~
"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses."
~Ann Landers ~
I am sniffling today with a head cold so I plan on drinking loads of fluids.
Happy Valentines Day to my husband...
"in sickness and in health"
I remember our pledge on that wedding day back in 1974.
We've come a long way since that day and I love you more now than I did back then.
Happy Valentines Day
"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other."
~ Audrey Hepburn ~
I'll be taking a few days off while I am sick
will be back soon.

ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better soon. That cold really hooks in, and it's well worth investing in some solid rest days at the outset. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, I love your heart shaped pebbles. Take care, I hope you soon feel much better.

Rest and Red Rose, both will help you mend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of hearts, especially your heart rocks. So sorry to hear you have a head cold, but you are onto the right track with that tea. Rest and take care. I love the Audrey Hepburn quote - I was such a fan of that lovely lady.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! Plenty of liquids -- I like a little bit of 100% natural juice of any kind over LOTS of crushed ice. A cool mist humidifier helps, as does a teensy dab of Vicks Vap-o-Rub around the nose.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon. Bed rest and a good book recommended.😘
ReplyDeleteIt is the time of year for colds! Lots of tea (I also add buckwheat honey from Quebec. I've heard it has medicinal powers.), rest, and covering my head over a bowl of steam helped me survive mine. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI also have a collection of hearts in various materials and they always "spark joy" - although I would be more than willing to add some of those lovely chocolate hearts!
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.
WE HAVE IT TOO!!!!!!!!
