OOTD...

Our dear friends from France gave me a lovely scarf for Christmas.
It is made by a company called Letol in France and I love it!

Keeping cozy wearing it
INSIDE the Humble Bungalow!
The gusty winds and freezing temperatures sneak into our home
via the single paned windows...
BRR!

In my wardrobe basic colours of black and grey
with a smattering of green...
which just happens to be my favourite colour!

 OOTD

Grey cashmere cardigan Jones of NY
(formerly Mom's)
Tribal denim jeans
Cupio Star Tee shirt
Letol scarf
Clarks Chelsea Boots

a wee bit of a departure from my usual plain Tees...
but hey I felt like I needed to add a bit of fun and whimsy
I don't always want to be serious and conservative!

Thank you for popping by...

One of our best investments was double-pane windows. They reduce the exterior noise, too.
Beautiful scarf. And your tee is just the right amount of whimsy.

What a fabulous gift, your scarf is absolutely gorgeous Leslie. So perfect with your Mum's lovely cardigan, and I really like that cute tee shirt too. Great outfit!

Scarves are the way I keep warm these days, too. Those and hovering by the fire when I'm home. Your French scarf is very pretty and fits so well with your wardrobe. Love the whimsy in your t-shirt. This is the time of year when I get tired of winter clothes and long for something fresh. Stay cozy.

Great outfit and so lovely that you have something from your mom you can wear. Comfort at a special level.
Isn't it amazing how much warmth a scarf brings!

Yes, scarves do dress up every outfit and keep us warm as well. That touch of green brightens up the greys. I've been wearing grey so much this winter that I love that touch of colour. Your starry t-shirt is great!

I live your outfit. Warm and the tee keeps it young looking. A cardi/tee/jeans and boots is my uniform for a lot of the year too with grey and black dominating the colours.

Yay!! This is the first post I’ve received from you in close to a year!! So glad they’re coming again. I never knew when to check for a post unless I happened to see something on social media. Love the star tee. Very fun.

Having a beautiful sweater from your mother is extra special. Continual memories.

Our heritage designation prohibits us from installing double glazed windows but we could have custom made storm windows crafted by a window maker...they are installed on the outside of the original windows with wood frames and are put up for the cold months then removed in the Spring...quite expensive!

Thank you Patricia...my friend Cheryl has great taste...she is an artist and currently lives in the south of France where these scarves are made.

The scarf is made of organic cotton and is super cozy and very soft...like a warm hug from a friend!

The star Tee is a bit of fun...think I need to look for more tops like this one!!
I love the outfit that you recently posted where you were wearing that denim "duster" a great way to wear a dress as a longer coat.

We have an oil heater in our TV room that we turn on in the evenings...the cats and I like to sit right beside it! Spring is not that far away but this snow does remind us that we are still experiencing winter!

Our necks do not like the cold chilly breezes...I suppose that is why so many women and men add a scarf when they venture outdoors...and it is a great way to add a pop of colour too.

We do love our neutral gray basics but there comes a time when we must kick it up a notch...especially at this time of year when we are eager for the Spring to arrive!

Julie...clothes can be a slippery slope....I am over 60 do not want to look like I am trying to recapture my youth...that's where I have to be careful about what I choose to wear as our clothes say so much about us...but adding a whimsical Tee a fun scarf or bright shoes or jewellry are "safe" choices.

That is very odd...I wonder what is going on? I am on Blogger and Bloglovin so you should be able to sunbscribe to my blog...I have been posting fairly regularly since 2009....glad to hear that you received this post!

I've just realised that my comment from earlier didn't publish ... not sure why :)
Your new t shirt and scarf look really fresh with your cashmere cardigan. I imagine the cardigan feels really cosy and comforting to wear ... I love that it was your mums ...

Things on the internet don't always go according to plan...hiccups or blips and glitches...glad to see that you tried again and succeeded!

Tribal jeans are the best. I used to have a Cupid tshirt that I wore to death. So comfy. Where can you buy this brand in Victoria? I wouldn’t mind getting a replacement. The star tee is very cute.
